Inventory Controller

We are looking for a full-time talented Inventory Controller to oversee, manage, and process our inventory!

You should have a passion for organization and an attention to detail. You should have excellent communication skills, both online and offline. And be able to express the company’s viewpoint accurately and creatively.

And, as part of the Secret Location team, you should have a strong interest in fashion, design, and luxury.

Reporting to the Retail general manager, you will be responsible for managing all inventory control related activities. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Managing the store inventory including current and old stock. 
  • Organizing the inventory at the front of store and the stockroom.
  • Filling in the E-commerce orders and returns in a timely manner (within two business days).
  • Performing and managing the seasonal stock takes.
  • Performing yearly inventory counts.
  • Assisting with sales floor markdowns.
  • Performing regular monthly random inventory checks. 
  • Receiving new inventory and entering the merchandise to the system accurately, creating skus, putting tickets, putting security tags, steam all items, and stoking merchandise in an organized manner.
  • Quality checking all new received inventory upon arrival and identifying and communicating any damaged goods to management and pack up for return to vendor.
  • Preparing newly arrived merchandise to be put in the store according to standards ( Ticketed, security tagged and steamed and smallest sizes out).
  • Assisting with e-commerce and photoshoots as necessary.
  • Counting all newly arrived inventory against the packing slip and check sizing.
  • Assuring all products are kept under the best conditions possible both at the store front and in the back stockroom.
  • To ensure all inventory paperwork is well kept and organized.
  • To apply all safety standards and cleanliness in the stockroom area at all times.
  • To protect all inventory from theft and damages.
  • Assisting on the sales floor as necessary.
  • The job role may include other reasonable duties/tasks from time to time. 

Qualifications

  • Excellent administrative skills, and a fluent understanding of Microsoft Excel.
  • Work experience with a POS system.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both online and off.
  • Hands on customer service experience.
  • Analytical and multitasking skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

       

        

      Design Consultant

      We are seeking a full-time, well-organized design consultant who is passionate about fashion for our Secret Location store.

       

      Responsibilities

      • Reports to General Manager.
      • Responsible for driving and maximizing sales.
      • Offer personalized shopping experience.
      • Provide exceptional customer service and the ability to develop and maintain customer base.
      • Ensure effective and timely follow through on all customers, inquiries, complaints, and special orders to achieve highest level of service.
      • Daily store maintenance and upkeep.
      • Provide professional sales service to all customers in accordance with company policies and procedures.
      • Assist in receiving inventory and data input.
      • Knowledge of computer skills and POS systems -beneficial ensure inventory control / loss prevention as priority.
      • Collaborate and interact with staff and customers to maintain a positive work environment.
      • Cash are handled in accordance with policies.

      Qualifications

      • Experience in fashion retail industry required.
      • Strong work ethic through a consistently high level of energy and focus with minimal direction from others.
      • Sales driven and goal oriented.
      • Ability to identify needs and requests.
      • Genuine love of fashion and understanding of style.
      • Responsible, punctual, flexible, and adaptable.
      • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
      • Excellent communication skills.
      • Professional / personable / creative.
      • Proficient knowledge of computer skills and POS systems.
      • According to needs of business, flexibility to work evenings, weekends, special events, etc.
