Inventory Controller

Description

We are looking for a talented Inventory Controller to oversee, manage, and process our inventory!
You should have a passion for organization and an attention to detail. You should have excellent communication skills, both online and offline. And be able to express the company’s viewpoint accurately and creatively.

And, as apart of the Secret Location team, you should have a strong interest in fashion, design, and luxury.

Responsibilities

  • Manage store inventory, including incoming, current, and old stock.
  • Execute inventory control measures to ensure the company minimizes stock holding and maximizes stock system and paperwork accuracy.
  • Set specific objectives and report on ROI.
  • Manage inventory receipt, quality control, ticketing, security tagging, and storage.
  • Collaborate and communicate with other departments, like Account Management, Buying, and Sales to ensure job completion and brand consistency.
  • Control perpetual inventory stock counting and accuracy checks, and investigates discrepancies and shortages.
  • Conduct annual physical inventory counts.
  • Ensure stockroom and overstock are in clean and organized order at all times.
  • Apply all safety standards in the stockroom area at all times.
  • Correctly fulfill all online purchases and returns.
  • Respond to Customer service emails in a timely manner.
  • Assist on the Sales Floor if or when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Excellent administrative skills, and a fluent understanding of Microsoft Excel
  • Work experience with a POS system
  • Problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both online and off
  • Hands on customer service experience
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
  • Attention to detail
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

      

    Part-Time Sales Consultant

    Description

    We are seeking a creative, dynamic, and talented individual able to express the company’s viewpoint accurately and creatively. You should have excellent communication skills, both online & offline.

    As a part of the Secret Location team, you should have a strong interest in fashion, design, and luxury.

    Responsibilities

    • Reports to Retail General Manager.
    • Responsible for driving and maximizing sales.
    • Perform specific duties in accordance with store operations.
    • Prioritize and focus energy on required projects and tasks.
    • Ensure effective and timely follow through on all customers, inquiries, complaints, and special orders to achieve highest level of service.
    • Responsible for receiving shipments, data entry, and inventory control.
    • Provide professional sales service to all customers in accordance with company policies and procedures.
    • Review loss prevention techniques regularly to eliminate shrinkage.
    • Opening and closing duties accordingly.
    • Ensure banking / cash are handled in accordance with policies.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 2 years retail experience with management preferably in high fashion.
    • Ability to translate strategies, objectives, and assignments into clear priorities and targets.
    • Ambitious individual dedicated to growing business.
    • Strong work ethic through a consistently high level of energy and focus with minimal direction from others.
    • Excellent communication skills with ability to interact effectively with staff and customers.
    • Lead by example and positive action.
    • Highly organized and detailed.
    • Responsible, punctual, flexible, and adaptable.
    • Proficient knowledge of computer skills and POS systems.
    • Ability to speak a second language an asset.
    • Proficient in social media applications an asset.
