De Lempicka

Size Guide

Author: Gilles Néret

Tamara de Lempicka (1898 - 1980) fled her native home in Russia to establish her  career as an artist in Paris. Her appeal to glamour & fame formed her style which deployed cool colours and tight post-cubist forms into a neoclassical and voluptuous figuration. Her subjects are often nude and always sensual, aloof, and powerful, making her one of the most vivid visual documents of 1920s Art Deco / Roaring Twenties.
